Principle of CTF:

Fluoroscopy integrated to a multislice CT

CTF Technology

-Real time imaging (0,2s delay)

-High frame rate (up to 12 im/s)

-Image stability

-Volumetric approach (triple slice)

-Millimetric precision

Triple slice CTF

Triple slice CT-fluoroscopy offers three simultaneous and contiguous views of the region of interest, with the middle slice being twice as thick as the two adjacent slices. Central image is showing the target and adjacent images contiguous cranial and caudal slices. Standard procedures are achieved with a 2/4/2 mm collimation, which means that the central target image presents a thickness of 4 mm and the adjacent slices 2 mm. If necessary, thinner ot thicker slices are used (1-10 mm).

Major Advantages:

-Volumetric approach

-Management of Z-axis

-Increases precision

-Fastens procedures

-Safer: any needle tip deviation is perceived
